REFUND POLICY – QUBA HOME SERVICES PVT. LTD.

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which QUBA Home Services Pvt. Ltd. processes refunds for services booked through our website, mobile application, or any related platform (collectively, the “Platform”).

By booking a service on QUBA, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. Nature of Platform

QUBA operates as a technology-enabled marketplace connecting customers with independent third-party service providers.

Since services are performed by independent professionals, refund eligibility depends on the specific circumstances of each case. Refunds are not automatic and are subject to review.

2. Eligibility for Refund

Service Not Delivered

You may be eligible for a full refund if:

  • The Service Provider fails to arrive
  • The booking is cancelled by QUBA or the provider
  • Payment was successfully made but the service was never initiated

Duplicate Payment

If a customer is charged multiple times for the same booking due to a technical error, the excess amount will be refunded.

Failed Service / Major Deficiency

Refunds (full or partial) may be issued if:

  • The service could not be completed due to provider limitations
  • There was significant deviation from the booked service
  • The delivered service was materially deficient

QUBA may request photos, videos, or supporting evidence before approving such refunds.

Damages During Service

If property damage occurs due to proven negligence of the Service Provider:

  • QUBA may facilitate resolution between the customer and provider
  • Refunds or compensation will be evaluated case-by-case
  • Liability shall be limited to the value of the service booked unless otherwise required by law

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after service completion
  • Dissatisfaction based on subjective expectations
  • Customer absence at the scheduled time
  • Denial of access to the premises
  • Lack of required utilities (water, electricity, etc.)
  • Customer-arranged materials being defective
  • Minor service variations that do not affect overall completion

4. Cancellation Charges

Cancellation fees may apply if:

  • The booking is cancelled after the Service Provider has been assigned
  • Cancellation occurs shortly before the scheduled time
  • The provider has already reached the location

These charges compensate the Service Provider for lost time and travel.

5. Rescheduling

Customers are encouraged to reschedule instead of cancelling.

Repeated rescheduling may attract additional charges.

6. Refund Process

To request a refund, customers must contact QUBA support within 24–48 hours of the service.

Please provide:

  • Booking ID
  • Description of the issue
  • Supporting evidence (if applicable)

Requests raised after this period may not be eligible.

7. Refund Method & Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method.

Typical timelines:

  • UPI / Wallets: 2–5 business days
  • Cards / Net Banking: 5–10 business days

Processing speed depends on the payment gateway and banking partner.

8. Platform Fees & Taxes

  • Platform convenience fees may be non-refundable
  • GST and other taxes will be handled in accordance with applicable laws

9. Cash Payments

For services paid in cash directly to the Service Provider:

  • QUBA does not guarantee refunds
  • Customers must coordinate directly with the provider
  • QUBA may assist in dispute resolution as a goodwill gesture

10. Fraudulent Claims

QUBA reserves the right to deny refunds if:

  • False or misleading claims are detected
  • Abuse of the refund system is suspected
  • Repeated refund requests indicate misuse

Accounts involved in fraudulent activity may be suspended.

11. Company Rights

QUBA retains sole discretion in determining refund eligibility, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

Our decisions aim to balance fairness to both customers and service providers.

12. Policy Updates

QUBA may modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
